IRI WELCOMES THE 2021 NAIC LEADERSHIP TEAM

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Insured Retirement Institute’s (IRI) President and CEO Wayne Chopus issued a statement congratulating the newly elected 2021 leadership of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

“We congratulate each of the incoming 2021 NAIC officers for assuming important leadership roles to help shape state insurance regulatory systems in their home states and across the nation. We look forward to working with incoming NAIC President David Altmaier, Florida Insurance Commissioner; President-Elect Dean Cameron, Idaho Insurance Director; Vice President Chlora Lindley-Myers, Missouri Insurance Director; and Secretary-Treasurer Andrew Mais, Connecticut Insurance Commissioner.

IRI also wants to thank 2020 NAIC President Ray Farmer, South Carolina Insurance Commissioner, for his outstanding dedication in confronting the challenges that 2020 presented. We applaud the leadership he and the other NAIC officers demonstrated to help consumers and the industry navigate this unforgettable year.”
