Resource Description
Of the population over the age of 80, roughly fifty percent either have been diagnosed with dementia or Cognitive Impairment Not Dementia (CIND); as such they may no longer have the ability to make important financial decisions.  Included in the document is a handy checklist to help guide consumers through the necessary steps to ensure that in the event of cognitive decline, a dignified retirement is maintained and a plan is in place to transfer the responsibility of decision making.
